Madison & Biscuit

It made her person realize she wanted professional photos of Madison before it was too late. Her person liked the photo I took of my dog reading a book about squirrels so we re-created the scene at Madison's photo shoot. Madison is obsessed with rabbits so, naturally, that's what she is reading up on!

Once we finished the book photo, it was time for the BIG fun to start and we got out the sprinkler! Biscuit the golden retriever puppy had just joined the family so we needed photos of her as well. Biscuit wasn't quite sure what to make of the sprinkler at first but soon got the hang of it. Madison preferred the water to be blasting out of the hose and squirting her right in the face. Silly dog! I bet she would really enjoy one of those kids' sprinklers with the twisting spray heads.

In case you are wondering how Madison is doing, I'm happy to report that she is doing better! The health scare turned out to be just that - a scare. Between the time her person first called and when we took the sprinkler photos, she had improved so much! Most elderly dogs don't have energy to drink out of a hose for their end-of-life session. That was my first clue that Madison still had lots of pep left! I'm so glad her person took the time to get photos. It's always wise to think about photos sooner than later.

Sidenote: We took these photos in September and I'm finally getting around to posting them. The gorgeous fall weather has gone on forever this year. It's 73 degrees outside as I write this...on November 2! We practically could have taken sprinkler photos today. You've got to love Colorado!
